Small but beautiful house

Today we are inspired by a project of a “small holiday home” , as the designers from studio i29 call it themselves. For its 75 sqm, this house has a rather luxurious and imposing feel.
The building is located in Vinkeveen, the Netherlands and was designed for a family of four. It consists of a living room with kitchen, veranda, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets – small but enough for rest and complete relaxation in nature. From all the rooms there are amazing views. And the designers have made sure that every square meter of the home is used rationally.
The positioning of the building is in harmony with the surrounding nature.
Located next to a beautiful lake, the positioning of the house is according to the position of the water and the sun. The building looks like a small oasis of tranquility. In sync with the architecture- the interior is extremely clean, modern and designed with full use of space in mind. The architects have opted for natural oak, metal and concrete in the interior. Custom-made furniture and built-in cupboards have been used. The colours used are few and the interior achieves so much at the same time – the goal is achieved- a clean look that impresses.
